Created for a purpose

July 14-18, 2025

Created for a Purpose is a ministry that shares the gospel of Jesus Christ with 3rd-8th grade girls through creative art projects, sound biblical teaching, worship and small groups.

We desire for our campers to know that the Bible is true, that God has created them and that He has created them for a personal relationship with him. We want them to know what it means to be in the world but not of the world. We pray they understand that they do not have to conform to the ways of the world. We want them to know and believe that God is who He says He is and that He does not change.

Camp Details:

Who can attend? All girls who are rising 3rd through 8th grade.

What do the girls do? Each day they will create in one of 5 different areas (cooking, sewing, painting, paper arts, sculpture). By the end of the week, they will have helped cook lunch for the entire camp, sewn a complete project using a sewing machine, created a unique painting, used paper to create a piece of art, and constructed a 3-dimensional project. They leave camp with tangible reminders of the God who created them and has a purpose for them.

When is camp? July 14-18, from 9 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. each day.

Where is camp located? Redeeming Grace Church, 4800 Charlotte Highway, Lake Wylie, SC 29710

How much does camp cost? $215.00 covers all the art supplies and equipment, including lunch each day. The fee also pays for a camp t-shirt, cookbook, devotional material, and tote bag. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE--ask about them when you register your camper.
